TEAMS ANNOUNCED FOR 2024 FOOTLOCKER U14 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Basketball ACT is thrilled to announce the U14 Girls and U14 Boys teams, who are set to contest the 2024 Footlocker U14 Club Championships at Casey Stadium, Cranbourne East, Victoria – held from 21 -27 September 2024.
When speaking about the final squad, U14 Girls Head Coach, Daniel Ferrington said, “We’ve got a very close-knit team this year, and the girls really complement each other on the court. They are all very talented basketballers and I’m excited to see how they meet the top level of competition in the country. The girls have been working hard all year and I’m confident that they will take the opportunity to demonstrate how far thay have come, both as individuals and as a team. Our preparation is on track, and it’s shaping up for a fun and exciting week. I know it will be an experience doe the girls to grow from, and cherish.”
Meanwhile, U14 Boys Head Coach, Richard Van der Snoek spoke about his excitement about the Club Championships, as the boys prepare for the week in Victoria, “I truly excited about the opportunity to coach this team at the Club Championships. I’m really looking forward to this group of kids testing themselves against the best teams in Australia. They are a great group of kids, and this opportunity will only assist in their development, and better prepare them for the future.”
