Basketball ACT — September College 3v3 Tournament Results

Earlier this week, as the winter basketball seasons wrapped up and players eagerly awaited the summer seasons to tip off, nine college teams gathered at the Belconnen Basketball Stadium for a fast-paced 3v3 basketball tournament. 

The tournament saw squads from Erindale College, Lake Ginninderra College, and Dickson College compete throughout the day. While the event was filled with spectacular highlights and vicious dunks, only one team emerged victorious in the end.

Erindale White faced off against Lake Ginninderra Green in a highly tense grand final. The Ginninderra boys played strongly and gained an early lead against their Erindale opponents, at one point reaching a score gap of 13 in a game to 21.

Despite the massive scoreboard difference, Erindale White prevailed and eventually secured the championship win with a buzzer beater from outside the arc. The results — 17 Erindale White to 16 Lake Ginninderra Green.
