Final squads to contest the 2023 Footlocker Under 18 National Championships have been finalised, and Basketball ACT would like to congratulate all athletes selected.

The National Championships are set for Brendale and Zillmere in Queensland, from 9-16 April 2023, with a slew of the nation’s top-line talent looking to make an impression.

Our Under 18 Boys find themselves in Pool A – and open their 2023 campaign with games against Victoria Country (11am) and WA Metro (5.30pm) on Sunday 9 April 2023.

When speaking about the final squad, Head Coach of the U18 Boys, Vivek Gupta, said, “We are excited about the breadth of talent we’ve got across positions. We are a hard-working, tight-knit group, with good leadership to back each other up and fight through games.”

Meanwhile, our Under 18 Girls have been drawn in Pool B, with their opening game against NSW Metro (3pm) onSunday 9 April 2023.

As the team prepare for the Championships, Under 18 Girls Head Coach, Jenny Lonergan, said “The coaching staff are excited by the enthusiasm and the versatility of our squad”, when discussing the make up of the final team.
