Intellectual Disability
Basketball ACT is a proud supporter and ambassador for social inclusion through basketball.
Basketball ACT have a men’s and women’s Ivor Burge program. Ivor Burge is the National Championships for players with an intellectual disability run in conjunction with the Australian Under 20 Championships.
The teams have enjoyed success in recent years with the Women’s team receiving Silver in 2017 and Bronze in 2018 and 2019, while the Men’s team received bronze in 2020.
